Welcome to the World of The Fallen Gates

My name is Summer Jones, and I am a survivor in the New World. At least, I was surviving pretty well until the vampires selected me. To be their next servant, lady for the night, or blood bag, I’m not sure. All I know is that I need to get out of here. I’m on a one-woman mission to find answers—to find him—and I don’t have time to be distracted by bloodsucking vamps, panty-dropping fae, or hungry werewolves.

So, it’s really bad luck the supernaturals selected me on a day when the gates between worlds seem to have opened again. Now, thanks to my glowing dignity, I’ve got to save the life of this irritating, arrogant vampire, the same one who was after my blood just a few hours ago, or risk losing my own and my panties to the dark fae.

This sucks. But not as much as waking up with battle wounds in a werewolf’s bed—as if this day couldn’t get any worse!

With no means of escape and no one to trust, caught up in this ongoing war between worlds, I’m beginning to question everything I thought I knew. Because, thanks to my fading luck, now the gates have opened again and I’m standing in front of a familiar face from the past, one I definitely didn’t expect to bump into here.

I’m starting to wonder, what if the answers I’ve been searching for have been waiting on the other side of the gates all along? And why, all of a sudden, is the idea of playing blood bag for this irritating jerk of a vampire beginning to look a lot less…thirsty?

'THE FALLEN GATES. Part Two: Then.' is available for pre-order. Release date is July 25, 2019.

My name is Rachel Crow and I am a necromancer: a human born with the power to bring the dead back to life. My so-called ‘gift’ has always felt like a curse. I’ve spent years running to escape the people who tried to abuse my power for their own gain. That’s how I ended up here, at the edge of the human world. Finally safe behind closed doors, with my weird and wonderful family of supernatural orphans.

Except, now, we don’t have a door to hide behind—and we’re not safe either. Not until we get rid of this big, burly entourage who invaded our peace in the middle of the night to dump a dead vampire on our dining table. He’s royalty, apparently. They want me to resurrect him, because he’s the only one with the power to close the gates between our world and some mysterious other land.

But what’s the worst that could happen if the gates fall? In this messed-up life where vampires, werewolves, and who-knows-what roam among humans, do these tough guys really expect us to believe the gates’ collapse will hail the end of life as we know it? I don’t think so. Besides, don’t they realize how dangerous it is to resurrect…creatures like their vampire friend, especially when he’s already well-past expiration date?

They say the war is coming. With everything I’ve seen, I say it’s already here.

All I need to do is survive the night, protect my girls, and assure these oh-so-intimidating bullies with their otherworldly seduction that I’m definitely not the necromancer they need. At least, I don’t think I am…
